You must be a member of the society to forward your candidacy. Please purchase a membership (if you haven't already) before filling out the form. If you are unable to attend in person you can run in absentia and have a committee member read your speech.
Executive committee roles
- President — Chairing meetings; liaising with the School of Computer Science, the Students' Union, and other University organisations; running society elections.
- Secretary — Minutes, mailing list, membership list, website maintenance, H&S training and risk assessments.
- Treasurer — Financial administration of the society and its events; management of society accounts.
- Events Coordinator — Overall organisation of society events; supplementary risk assessments; works directly with the Sponsorship Coordinator.
- Sponsorship Coordinator — Liaising with current sponsors, raising society sponsorship, outreach for new opportunities; works directly with the Events Coordinator.
General committee roles
- Publicity Officer — Social media, marketing, event photography, website content, society calendar.
- CS Ball Coordinator — Overall organisation of the Computer Science Ball, working with the Events Officer; leads the ball subcommittee and its recruitment.
- STACS Developers President — Leads the STACS Developers subcommittee; recruits members; organises technical workshops.
